| Physical and chemical properties | The product is a white crystal with a melting point of 59.5 ℃ and a relative density of 1.37 (20 ℃). The solubility in water is 4.0mg/L (25 ℃); Solubility in other solvents (g/L, 25 ℃): toluene 690, acetone 880, ethanol 97, n-hexane 0.0086. Relatively stable in acidic media, hydrolyzed in alkaline media. Low toxicity, no mutagenicity, no teratogenicity, no carcinogenicity, and no reproductive toxicity. As an inhibitor of acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase) and a systemic herbicide, the absorption of propiconazole from glyphosate to weed death is relatively slow, usually taking 1-3 weeks. Mixed with detoxifying quinolones for the prevention and control of gramineous weeds in cereal crops. |
